You Can Forgive Yourself

<itunes:author>Bob Christopher</itunes:author>

Those of us who are saved still sin. This is why I don't understand the following: "Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God." 1 John 3:9 * I called several months ago gripped in condemnation. My understanding was I was saved up to the day I was saved, but had to keep getting forgiveness. Thanks for bringing the message of God's forgiveness in Christ. * I've been studying Revelation. Where is the New Jerusalem? * Will the church go through the tribulation?

The Lord's Prayer

<itunes:author>Bob Christopher</itunes:author>

What's the truth about the Lord's Prayer? * I'm a Christian and my dad owns a bar. Is there anything wrong with me working there? * Did Jesus state "no one can forgive sins except God"? * Some people think that people don't have to ask for forgiveness. Don't we have to ask for forgiveness everyday? * If you have forgive someone, but don't want the same relationship again, have you truly forgiven them? * How are we indwelt by God when we accept Jesus into our hearts?

Leaving the Past Behind

<itunes:author>Bob Christopher</itunes:author>

Is there hope to overcoming the past? When we really believe what the Bible has to say about us, we can overcome. Read more at: http://firstlifethenchange.com/ * What causes panic attacks and anxiety? * If Jesus Christ is God, why would He pray to the Father? * Is it possible to lose your salvation? I'm afraid I've lost my salvation. I'm filled with fear and anxiety and don't know what to do? * Are God and Satan equal?

Can You Forgive Yourself?

<itunes:author>Bob Christopher</itunes:author>

Welcome to our new listeners on KRKS. How can I forgive myself? Hebrews 10:17-18 "Then he adds: 'Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.' And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary." * Is James 5:16 about accountability along with confessing sins to one another? * I have a big problem with a sexual immorality and I don't know how to overcome it. * Is it wrong to believe God heals today? * Were the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven given to Peter?

One Heart, One Voice

<itunes:author>Bob Christopher</itunes:author>

Join us as Bob Christopher reminds the believers that our freedom should not be an offense to others. The primary reason for our freedom is to share Jesus with others. When Jesus died on the cross, He did not seek to please Himself, but rather, did what He did for our benefit. This is the same attitude we should have for others. We should please our neighbors for their good. This does not mean being a man-pleaser, but living in such a way that will not cause a weaker person to stumble. Are we willing to lay down our wants and desires in order to help our neighbor?

Nothing to Fear

<itunes:author>Bob Christopher</itunes:author>

We are petrified of being exposed for who we are. But the Word of God has good news concerning forgiveness for our sins and what happens when we die. Hebrews 10:17 “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” * 2 Corinthians 5:10-11 - According to this verse we are going to give an account for our works. So there will be some accounting for what we've done, right? * Please explain 1 John 2:2 "...He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world." * Ephesians 2:10... "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." * Join us for "Be A Voice" - June 13-15 http://realanswers.net/events/ * I yelled out to God "I hate you". I was told I'd be condemned eternally for that. * Is 1 John 2:2 about universal salvation?

Take Away

<itunes:author>Bob Christopher</itunes:author>

Why are we looking for more forgiveness if the Bible is so clear that Jesus took away our sins? Hebrews 9:28 "Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him." * If you fall into sin and are not chastised by the Lord, (Hebrews 12) what does that mean? * How do I forgive my wife for her affair? * If a believer is set free by grace and sins, now what? Are they not really saved? * If you forgive a spouse, you want to see change... it hurts so bad when they do it again and again and again... * I went through a similar thing as Marlo. I feel guilty because of my divorce. I'm divorced. Can I remarry?

Reconciliation

<itunes:author>Bob Christopher</itunes:author>

Jesus died to reconcile us to Himself. It's about restoring and relationship. I think of Galatians 6 about going to a brother so that he might be restored. Romans 5:8 tells us, "... God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." * What is the context of 1 John 1:9? * Join us for Be A Voice conference. More info at http://realanswers.net/events/ * How do we move on? It's hard to believe that we are really forgiven? * God always saved people by grace through faith... even in the Old Testament. * Has or will God condemn men to hell for not believing in His son if they've never heard? * I know we're forgiven, but they take it as a license to sin because they know they are forgiven. How do we deal with that?

A Stick in the Spokes

<itunes:author>Richard Peifer</itunes:author>

Join us as Richard Peifer shares the truths found in Romans 14. Eating, drinking, keeping special days should not be the basis of our worship. However, if we know someone hasn't reached that truth yet, we should not put any stone or obstacle in anyone’s way by forcing our freedoms or convictions of specific days, celebrations or food to them. Do only what leads to peace and edification, and nothing that will cause others to stumble.

It Is Finished!

<itunes:author>Bob Christopher</itunes:author>

If you understand this three word phrase, "It is finished", your life... everything about your life will change. Some say, "I love you" or "I forgive you" are the most powerful three words. But I'm going to argue that "It is finished" are the three most powerful words. John 19:28-30 "knowing that all was completed... 'It is finished!'" * If the wrath of God has been removed by Jesus, why is there still a day of wrath? * The Bible states that Jesus died for all our sins. Does this include the sin of unbelief? * Do the Jews still offer sacrifices like they did in the Old Testament? * How do I forgive my wife's affair and move on in the marriage?

Case Closed

<itunes:author>Bob Christopher</itunes:author>

Have your sins been judged? - If we don't know the truth about forgiveness, we live in fear of God. Romans 8:1-2 "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death." * So many pastors teach from the Old Testament and don't teach that in Christ we have life and forgiveness. * It seems that people find themselves at two extremes ... either grace requires more work on their part to remain clean or grace is a license to sin. * I'm a radical grace believer. 1 Corinthians 15:17 reads: "And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins." How could this be possible if Jesus is "the Lamb of God, who TAKES AWAY the sins of the world?" * How could Jesus say, "your sins are forgiven", if He had not yet died for sins? * What does "Barrabas" mean? * How should I feel about the man who held the three women captive for 10 years? * Because of my mother, I came to Christ a couple years ago.

You Are Reconciled

<itunes:author>Bob Christopher</itunes:author>

Is God counting all my sins against me? * How do I deal with guilt and shame? * Do I still have to ask God for forgiveness? * Can I lose fellowship with God? * Does God keep a record of my sins? * Doesn't a person have to repent if they sin? * What does repentance mean? * What about 1 John 1:9?

Total Forgiveness Provided in Christ Jesus

<itunes:author>Bob Christopher</itunes:author>

The wages of sin is death and that's a horrible position to be in. Romans 7:14,18 "We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. ... For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out." * Do we wait for the Holy Spirit after we are saved? * It is incredible to realize that God can forgive us.

How Do I Overcome Guilt?

<itunes:author>Bob Christopher</itunes:author>

How do we rise up above guilt and shame. Colossians 1:21 "Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior." * How to tell people who say that they believe, but only have to confess in accordance to 1 John 1:9? * Would you please explain the Lord's prayer concerning asking for forgiveness? * The devil comes to us to make us feel guilty and drives us crazy. * I was saved long ago, but have since fell away. I'm still battling alcoholism, asking God to forgive me. I feel like a yo-yo. I feel so condemned, but I don't know what to do. I don't want to live this way anymore?

Authority, Debt and New Clothes

<itunes:author>Bob Christopher</itunes:author>

Join us as Bob Christopher explains the Godly purpose of the government. According to Romans 13, the government is to be used for the good of the people. If the government fails to live up to the purpose intended by God, Christians should speak up, but should do so in love. Love does its neighbor no harm. Paul says that Christians should never be in debt, except for the debt of love. The debt of love will never be repaid. We can trust God in spite of the turmoil in the world today. God is always working something out behind the scenes, and it is for the good of those who love Him. Trust not in mankind but in God, and God alone.

How We Receive Forgiveness

<itunes:author>Bob Christopher</itunes:author>

We're always wondering "what does God think about that", "What does He think about me". Acts 10:43 "All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through his name." * Why would we not want to do what Jesus told us to do concerning forgiving others? * What about forgiving others for wrongs done to you? How do you forgive them when you don't feel it in your hear?

Your Sins are Forgiven

<itunes:author>Bob Christopher</itunes:author>

Forgiveness is the number one asked question on our broadcast and through email. What's the deal with forgiveness. Bob Christopher shares what it meant to him to discover the reality of God's forgiveness. Colossians 2:13 "When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ..." * What are Christians to do with their sins if 1 John 1:9 is not for us? * I was born-again a few years ago, but now I struggle with thought from the past that convict me. Why is that? * How can you reconcile yourself to someone who is dead? * Sometimes we think we've forgiven and we haven't. * Could you pray for a friend of mine?

God's Favorite Place on Earth

<itunes:author>Bob Christopher</itunes:author>

We welcome Frank Viola to the program to talk about his new book, "God's Favorite Place on Earth". It is a retelling of Jesus' many visits to Bethany and a relaying of the message it holds for us today. Frank Viola presents a beautifully crafted narrative from the viewpoint of Lazarus, one of the people who lived in Bethany with his two sisters. This incomparable story not only brings the Gospel narratives to life, but it addresses the struggle against doubt, discouragement, fear, guilt, rejection, and spiritual apathy that challenges countless Christians today. In profoundly moving prose, God's Favorite Place on Earth will captivate your heart with its beauty, charm, and depth. In this book you will discover how to live as a "Bethany" in our world today, being set free to love and follow Jesus like never before. You can get your copy here: http://godsfavoriteplace.com/ and receive 25 free bonuses through May 7th.

If God is for Us...

<itunes:author>Bob Christopher</itunes:author>

Is it fear of the unknown? Are you holding on to guilt from the past? Many times it's difficult to trust what we don't know. God wants us to overcome those issues that keep us from entering into the love of God. Romans 8:31-39 "What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?... I am convinced that [nothing] can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. * Is it true that some of the Corinthians were killed for taking the Lord's Supper in an unworthy manner? * I haven't been able to give up smoking. Is it wrong to use nicotine lozenges to help me? * I know salvation is by grace, but if I tell God I don't need Him and I still sin, will I go to Heaven? * I was a violent man in my youth and have been kicked out of church because of my past. If God forgives me, why can't others?
